PROGRAMME

The modern battlespace is rapidly evolving under the influence of new and emerging technologies, that are fundamentally reshaping military operations and defence strategy. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyber capabilities, autonomous systems, and advanced C4ISR are increasingly becoming critical to achieving operational effectiveness and information superiority.

During the two-day conference, we will examine how the integration of these technologies enhances situational awareness, accelerates decision-making, optimises logistics, and strengthens force readiness, enabling military forces to operate more effectively across multi-domain and contested environments.  We will also highlight key challenges, including interoperability, that must be addressed to ensure effective and efficient implementation.

Additionally, we will also explore the key role played by these technologies as a decisive force multiplier in joint and coalition operations. In particular, by examining the intersection of innovation and operational capabilities, we will hopefully provide a forward-looking perspective on how these technologies are shaping the future of defence and security in the digital age.

Participants will gain insights into practical applications, strategic implications, as well as the essential role of doctrine, training, and collaboration in maximising technological effectiveness. They will also have the possibility to observe how the effective adoption and integration of emerging technologies are becoming key to maintaining military superiority, ensuring mission success, and safeguarding national and allied security in an increasingly complex battlespace.
